Thera Pro Diffuser Young Living Essential Oils

Hello,

 This  comes to you from Sunny California. Hot days and cool nights. I have been using peppermint oil in my water during the day, and have enjoyed receiving the LavaDerm along with the Lavender specials that have been offered this month. Lava Derm is an essential product for the summer months. It is excellent to use after we have spent time in the sun. I still have a few copies of Gary Young’s article on LavaDerm if anyone would like me to send them a copy, just drop me man email.

I purchased the new diffuser, TheraPro Diffuser at the Convention this year and I have to say that it is my favorite one so far. I like it because it is easy to use and there is always a consistent stream of oil from the diffuser. You can set the timer to your preference and the volume of oil that is diffused. You simply attach whatever 15 ml bottle of oil you want to diffuse. There is no issue of cleaning and things getting clogged up. If anyone has questions please contact me. TheraPro Diffuser

Hello! I have been with Young Living for 14 years now and I have been through all the myriad of diffusers most all of them broke or never really worked well. I will tell you this... the new TheraPro Diffuser is by far the best diffuser of the Young Living company or any other company I have ever used hands down!!! I LOVE it, I LOVE it, I LOVE it!!! There is no cleaning required ever, nothing can break on it, the out pour is phenomenal, it covers I believe 2500 square feet. I LOVE the built in timer. I usually diffuse like 5 minutes on a 25-30 minutes off. Saves a lot of oils this way... and when the whole house is filled with oil, just in about 3 or 4 rounds of this, I turn it off.

It travels better than any diffuser I have ever had and I travel all the time so this is important for me. I know we all might feel like yet another diffuser has come out and that we are so tired of buying another and another that may break or not work great but I promise you will love this one!!. I have many more people commenting on the oils as well since using this diffuser.

My clients even tell me they can smell it as they walk up my long driveway to get their healing sessions!! Oh and my favorite thing of all, is how easy it is to just twist the bottle on to the diffuser and turn it on. It does not get more simple than that! Which means it’s that easy as well to changes oils if you choose to. if you became frustrated like i did after years of investing and trying so many different diffusers, look no further!! Diffused oils alter the structure of molecules that create odors, rather than just masking them. They also increase oxygen availability, produce negative ions, and release natural ozone. History of Diffusing:
The term "aromatherapy" was coined by the French chemist Rene`-Maurice Gattefosse` in the early

How to use:

Great advice for continuous diffusing---inexpensively

Diffuse Lemon oil - it's the least expensive oil, and as it says in the Essential Oils Desk Reference, "vaporized lemon oil can kill meningococcus bacteria in 15 minutes, typhoid bacilli in one hour, staphylococcus aureus in 2 hours and pneumococcus bacteria within 3 hours.

Even a 0.2% solution of lemon oil can kill diphtheria bacteria in 20 minutes and inactivate tuberculosis bacteria. Lemon has been shown to have antidepressant effects ....." New Ultrasonic Diffuser from Young Living

The new Ultrasonic Diffuser from Young Living is something that I really am happy with.

It is very quiet and gives off a very large mist of essential oils. One of the things that I like about the diffuser is that it includes water so that you also get the effect of a humidifer. This works well in the area that I live because it gets to about 100 degrees in the summer and is quite dry. The air becomes aromatic and also moist. I like to put in 10 to 12 drops of oil in the water, so that I can get a strong aroma and  the healing properties of the oil become evident. It has a timer set into the diffuser, and a button for different colored lights that surround the top of the diffuser,and also three different speeds that the vapors pour out of the diffuser. The water in the diffuser lasts for 8 hours and then the diffuser automatically goes off when it get low. If you want to set the timer for a shorter setting that can easily be done too. I have to say that I love this new diffuser and recommend it highly for anyone in any setting.

SINUSES CLEAR UP & HUSBAND STOPS SNORING:

I have had relief from sinus problems with many diff. things , however , the best and longest lasting is recently using RC with a timed diffuser at night.  This one goes on 7 min approx. out of every half hour.

Other combinations work as well as I found out when temporarily out of RC.

Pine and Lavender.   Eucalyptus and Myrtle.  Orange and peppermint.   I would not diffuse any hot oils.

My husband who used to take off the ceiling with elephant snores now sleeps so quietly that it scares me sometimes :)   I have to listen closely to see if he is breathing.

If you have not smelled or experienced RC you are really missing out.  Four different  Eucalyptus, Lavender, Myrtle, Peppermint, Marjoram and Cypress. I hope I did not leave anything out.

This blend is truly one of Gary Young's masterpieces and although I have tried to duplicate this blend with singles I can not come  close.  The benefits may be comparable but never the heavenly scent.

NO MORE MOLD:

Great news - one of the less expensive oils.   Purification will help with the air and the molds and mildew smells.  Of course cleaning with a power cleaner might help too. When my basement was really bad and I had to clean it, I used two bottles of purification in the difueser.  The basement even a year later smells wonderful.  I also did some cleaning with tsp on the concete.  That concrete
never cleans well,  It is slick but never smells nice.  I also put lemon in the water with the soap stuff.

Greetings!  This is my first posting on this chatline - it's been interesting reading the last month or so!  My name is Donna Springer and I've been involved with YLEO for about 2 1/2 yrs.  My reason for posting today is to let you know what I just discovered!  I have a problem with mildew on the bathroom wall directly above my shower.  Today I decided to see what the oils could do for me.  I took my diffuser up and plugged it in with Purification in it - let it diffuse for probably about an hour with the door shut.  Then I wet a
sponge with the scrubby backing  smelling than the Clorox I usually use!  My hands smell nice, too!

STAYING HEALTHY:

Why I am not getting sick. I wanted to share with you that each winter I get sick and stay sick for the whole winter months. I have been diffusing Thieves each night by my bed on a timer and it goes off 10,2,& 6. My grandson has been very sick with the flu,
my husband got a sore throat, one of my workers that has been here in the house working has had the flu real bad. Even though I have been around all of them I am well, well, well. I diffuse Thieves and each morning I put it on the bottom of my feet, a drop on my wrist and a drop behind each ear. Our business is in California and my husband travels there each weekend. When I spoke to
him on Friday evening he said the girls in the store were all sick. I told him to do as I do each morning and he did and he is now well. Last week when he was here in Utah with a sore throat, I rubbed Thieves on his neck during the day and evening. I had him drink bottled water with 1 drop of Thieves in it twice and the rest of the time I had him drink water with a mixture that I made up of Grapefruit, Lemon, Orange and Tangerine. He is well now with no sore throat. These oils are wonderful. They are so much fun to experiment with also. Have a wonderful day.

Last year,  my son who is 12 was one of the few  in his class who did not get sick in  the school year. At the first sign of  him
coming  down with anything, I start with the oils and diffuse his room.I am building my testimonials  about  oils  that I can talk to someone with confidence and it is then up to them if they want to try it or not. STAVING OFF THE FLU:

I, too, am fighting the flu.  It started with an ache in the back of my neck. I drank Theives in water all day, then rubbed Eucalyptus and RC on the front of my neck and put Peppermint on my nose.  Day one ended with just a tired feeling, aches and pains gone.  Day Two started with a full feeling in the throat, so I diffused Cloves in my office, and rubbed the oils as above.
I diffused RC during the night both nights. Late in the afternoon, I decided to drink the Young Berry Juice.  It gave me enough energy to go shopping (a chore that I hate with a passion).  I came home still feeling good.  Day Three has dawned and I have a low grade headache and my throat is feeling full again.  I have had my Berry Juice and I will continue to use the oils.

I am absolutely certain at this point, that I will not be "sick".  Many of my employees have had this virus and they all were miserable.  I am not miserable and know I will not get to that point.  I love essential oils and now, the Berry Juice.

Hi everyone! Yesterday I felt I was coming down with a stomach virus or the flu. I had aches and pains in my body and diarhea. Also had a cold. I looked up in edr and looked under flu. I was refereed to Idaho Tansy to put in on my stomach and feet. I also diffused Thieves all day long in the house. Also used oregano a few times on my feet as well. Today I am perfectly fine. I also dosed up on Vitamin C for my cold. These oils work.

Good Evening Oilers,

Yesterday...
My 17 year old daughter has been under the weather for about 9 days now,
with chest congestion, sore throat and other flu like symptoms. She had
refused my offers of massage, vitaflex, ect... and tried to tuff it out.
Well, last night she finally got on my massage table and ask for the oils...
(By the way: During this time, I was diffusing oils on and off when
she was home and would wear some myself, whenever we had a chance
to sit together in the same room - thus getting some of it in her system
via the air around us.)

I performed the "Raindrop technique" on her and diffused
Thieves in the house every 15 mins for 4 hours last night.

Today...
My daughter had previously made an appointment with our family doctor for today; which she kept (I went with her).  To my daughter's amazement (not mine), her fever was gone, her glands were not swollen, and her chest congestion was clear. But, just to be sure nothing else was going on with her, it was advisable that she get checked out by our MD. (I personally, choose to get the advice of a professional medical doctor, then go from there with the YL products.)

She told the doctor that she started feeling much better this morning and then proceeded to explain the Raindrop and the oils to the doctor.  I was amazed that she told the doctor!!!  Then while she was getting her hair cut today, she was telling the hairdresser about the oils and how they helped her!!!

All this testimony coming from a 17 year old - Wonders never cease, do they!!! Well, good people, I know that they work.  I've seen many a healing take place in people who use the YL products.

BYE, BYE ANTS!
I've been diffusing peppermint in my basement for a good hour then I move up to my 1st floor, primarily in my kitchen and then in my 2 bathrooms upstairs. They like water, at least my big grand daddy carpenter ants do. Anyway, they are gone!!!! We had a warm day yesterday, that is the test, they all come out then. My husband is so thrilled we don't have to bring in
the big boys to spray poison. All Da Best! Carol

DIFFUSING WITH PETS:

I have a cat, dog, bird, gerbils, lizards, frogs and fish in my house and we diffuse all the time.

The cat sleeps in the room with us and breathes all different oils in different combinations with no problem.

The gerbils, dog and fish are in my 5 year olds room and we run the diffuser all night with no problem.

The lizards and frogs are in with my 13 year old with a diffuser running all night, also no problems there.

I have used all sorts of oils around the bird (in the living room) and have also had no problems. Of all the animals, the bird would be the most sensitive and she is fine with them.

ADD/ADHD

I have a son that is ADD/ADHD and some days Brain Power is all that gets us through the day. Lavender is also a good all-around oil, especially for kids. I have heard that Theives is good for "balancing out the body" and I would put that on his feet at night, I
diffuse Theives every night in my childrens bedroom for 30 minutes after they go to sleep. I use Brain Power on all of us, not just my son. I homeschool my children and I find this really helps with their concentration and focus. I let one drop fall on the back of the neck from the bottle, then I wipe my finger over the top of the bottle and put that on the temples. I do the same at night with the Peace and Calming and Valerian (to help him get a good night sleep). I have found that I am sleeping soundly for the first
time in almost 10 years (I suffer from mommy syndrome, always one ear open to listen for the kids). Hope this helps.

TROUBLE SLEEPING & SNORING:

I use Peace and Calming every night in the diffuser, rub on both feet & ankles, a drop on tip of nose, behind ears and hollow of throat. You can put a drop or two on a cotton ball and insert it inside pillow case or put the cotton ball on headboard, directly above your head. Love the
smell of P&C...sometimes put Valor on bottom of feet instead of Peace and Calming Essential Oil Blend.
Either way it works great for me.

....Also, we used four different oils for my husband's severe allergies.
These oils were peppermint, eucalyptus, myrtle and RC. I layered these on his feet (especially sinus points) and used two, varying the two, over his sinuses, (careful, they can irritate). He experienced 99% relief from his allergies this spring! That is truly amazing because he has suffered with them for over 7 years and used every medication from over-the-counter to prescription. I

HOW TO CLEAN THE GLASS DIFFUSER TUBE
Here are a few suggestions for cleaning the glass diffuser tube from recent posts on the Joy Group.

I use our Thieves Cleaner...works great every time. Just let it soak in hot water with a little bit of thieves, no measurement,
I have a few glass tubes that I clean together and just tip the bottle of Theives Cleaner in the hot water and let soak...rinse and air dry. Sometimes if the glass is sticky I use a pipe cleaner gently inside with the soapy water.

I soaked one of my downline's first in warm soapy water.  That didn't remove all the residue so I tried vinegar. Better...but not

I have found that good old fashioned rubbing alcohol takes all the old sticky oils out of every nook and cranny just as fast and slick as a
whistle.  I take my tube and plug one end with my finger, pour a little in, plug the other end and shake it around a bit.  I do that a couple of times or until it looks like I liquified all the old oils.  then I just rinse with water and a smidge of dish soap and let it air dry. Quick and easy!  Pat

Blood Brain Barrier Therapeutic Essentials

Brain Disorders
The fragrance of many essential oils exerts a powerful stimulus on the limbic system - a part of the brain located on the margin of the cerebral cortex, including the amygdala, hippocampus, and other components, which interact directly with the thalamus and hypothalamus. Acting together, these glands and brain components are the seat of memory,
emotions, and sexual arousal, and govern aggressive behavior. The ability of essential oils to pass the blood-brain barrier gives them enormous therapeutic potential against such neurological diseases like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Lou Gehrig's, and MS.
Right Brain vs. Left Brain
The left brain is logical, rational, and judgmentaland not as responsive as the right. The right brain is the subconscious and superconscious part of the limbic system. Using essential oils heightens right brain activity, according to D. Gary Young. Dr. Richard Restick, a leading neurologist in Washington, D.C., stated that maintaining normal synaptic firing would forestall many types of deterioration in the body.

Other researchers believe that if a substance could pass the blood-brain barrier then a therapeutic solution could be devised to help neurological diseases like Parkinson's, Lou Gehrig's, MS, and Alzheimer's.

Essential oils high in sesquiterpenes, such as frankincense, cypress, myrrh, and sandalwood, have been documented to cross the blood-brain barrier. Moreover, essential oils also increase oxygen levels in the brain. According to Dr. Asawa of Japan and Dr. Richardson of England, the inhalation of essential oils increases brain activity by increasing blood flow by 15 percent and oxygen by 25 percent.

Helichrysum increases neurotransmitter activity.
Nutmeg is a general cerebral stimulant and also has adrenal cortex-like activity.
Put the oils directly onto the nerve centers as is practical. The brain reflex points include the forehead, temples, and mastoids (the bones just behind the ears). Use direct pressure application to the brainstem located on the center of the backbone, on the neck, and work down the spine.
You can also apply essential oils to a natural bristle brush (oils may dissolve plastic bristles).
Rub and brush vigorously along the brain stem and spine.

Put a Diffuser in Your Home...

Diffusing essential oils in your home is easy to do, but it's knowing what to do
and doing it that matters. To begin, essential oils are volatile. That is, they
quickly evaporate, which makes them ideal for purifying the air within a home
or office. People may place a drop or two on the vents of a furnace or air conditioner.
The air passing over the vent will disperse the oil vapor. Other methods employ
the use of a fan by placing a few drops of oil on the fan housing. But the most
efficient method uses a device made specifically for diffusing called a diffuser.

Commercial diffusers typically disperse the oil in micro-fine or molecule size vapors, which quickly saturate the air. Because the vapors are micro-fine, they can remain suspended for up to several hours. By using such a diffuser, everyone, pets included, will inhale the vapors as they breathe. As the vapors reach the interior of the respiratory tract, the chemical molecules of the oil go to work against invaders and penetrate into the blood stream.
The whole body benefits as the oils work synergistically with the body's defenses.

Better diffusers consist of an air pump, oil well and a glass nebulizer connected by
flexible air tubing. The pump can be set on the floor or under an end table out of sight.
Many people hook diffusers up to a timer, which allows it to turn on and off automatically. The whole assembly is easy to assemble and to clean.

My family has been diffusing essential oils for four years, and is satisfied that diffusing really works to keep the flu bug away. People all about us fall ill in the Fall, but we remain healthy. We typically run our diffuser twice a day for about 30 minutes, though it can be operated for longer periods of time. We use a variety of oils, but the ones we use most often are blends of oil. They have a clean smell which fills the whole house.
