Have you checked the Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th edition for suggestions for sinus problems? Our family
has used one of the recipes listed under SINUSITIS and for most of us, the
problems are nipped in the bud. This recipe calls for 10 drops PEPPERMINT,
3 drops EUCALYPTUS, 2-3 drops MELALEUCA We mix this with equal
amounts of carrier oil and swab inside the nostrils as often as we feel
necessary to obtain relief. The Essential Oils Desk Reference also suggests putting in a capsule and
taking internally, which we have not done. And you can rub oils over your
nose and sinuses (being careful not to get in the eyes).
Another recommendation from the same reference book is
The
reference books are wonderful for the first oils to go to.
Whatever you use, be patient. This has not occurred overnite and you won't
eliminate it overnite. But you need to get the oils deeper into your body and
use them OFTEN.
