Ravensara is the key for eliminating shingles…I purchased
two bottles for my mom…she took 5 drops three times per day for 21
days….relief from pain within 48 hours…no further occurrences after she
finished the 21 days….. a friend of hers also had shingles…did not like he
taste of burping the oil…Pain and discomfort vs. taste for 21 days…my choice
would be no pain and the end of the shingles…she stopped after 5 days…and
suffered for another 3 months…then had reoccurrences….interesting choice.
If the taste is unpleasant…chase with lemon oil (she did put the Ravensara
into capsules) the friends pain level was at a 10 on a scale of 1-10 at
the beginning and went down to a 4 in 4 days….

I had a personal experience with shingles last year.
I looked up in the EDR along with the Alternative Medical Guide by
Burton-Goldberg and the indicated oil for shingles was Raven Sara
internally.
I made gel caps twice a day with 7 drops each of Raven Sara and took
these internally. My pain went away that first day. I decided to take this
for 21 days, a typical active stage of a virus.
One day about a week into the course I forgot my morning capsule - and
I decided not to take the evening cap - questioning if this was really
working - and sure enough, my pain and symptoms came back. I resumed
the capsules and the pain went away. I did do this for a course of 21 days,
and after that I was fine. I did not feel the need for topical application
because I was having so much success with this.

Shingles is an active (generally short-lived) viral infection of the central
nervous system that affects certain areas of the skin. This usually starts
with fatigue, fever, chills, and at times intestinal upset. On the third to
fourth day, the affected skin area becomes excessively sensitive. On the
fourth or fifth day, small painful blisters erupt along the nerve pathway
and crust over. Normally these heal in about 5 days without further
problems. One attack usually gives immunity for life. However, with some,
particularly the elderly, pain can persist for months, even years.
The virus that causes shingles is Varicella zoster, which also causes
chicken pox. A childhood bout with chicken pox leaves some viruses dormant
in sensory (skin) nerves. If the immune system is compromised from things
such as severe emotional stress, illness, or long-term use of
corticosteroids, the dormant viruses may start to infect the pathway of the
skin nerves.
Healing shingles sores, and, pain relief...........................
Dear Terri B.
One of my dist. father got shingles while in the hospital for a stroke. He
went on a number of medications and started going down hill fast.
His son called me to ask my advice. I told them that I would use Melrose
for the sores. His daughter, who is a nurse, applied the Melrose and
couldn't believe how fast his sores healed. Also his pain went away
quickly.
Melrose works wonders.
Blessings,
Gail
