Some Great Recipes Using the Summer Essentials Cooking Bundle
Refreshing Cherry Lemonade
- 2/3 c Blue Agave
- 4 drops lemon essential oil
- 4 large lemons
- 1 bottle sparkling cherry soda
- Filtered water
In a gallon pitcher, combine agave, lemon essential oil, juice of lemons and sparkling cherry soda. Mix well and add filtered water to fill pitcher. Chill in refrigerator and serve over ice. Garnish with sprig of mint or lemon wedge. Makes 8 16-ounce servings.
Tomato Cucumber Summer Salad
- 1/2 c cider vinegar
- 1 t Blue Agave
- 1 t salt
- 1 drop dill essential oil
- 1 drop black pepper essential oil
- 4 T vegetable oil
- 4 cucumbers, sliced
- 2 c red onion, chopped
- 4 ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges
In a large bowl, mix vinegar, sugar, salt, dill essential oil, black pepper essential oil, and vegetable oil. Add cucumbers, onion, and tomatoes. Toss and chill in refrigerator at least thirty minutes before serving.
Ginger Cinnamon Glazed Peaches
- 1/4 c. Blue Agave
- 3 drops ginger essential oil
- 3 drops cinnamon bark oil
- 1 T. butter
- 4 peaches quartered
Stir agave and essential oils together and set aside. Slightly butter a frying pan and heat on medium. Once hot, add peaches. Gently cook peaches 1 to 2 minutes. Brush agave and essential oil glaze on each side of the peaches. Allow glaze to slightly caramelize on each side. Once peaches are hot, remove and plate. Drizzle leftover glaze on top of peaches and serve. Makes 4 to 8 servings.
Papaya Daydream Smoothie
- 4 dried papaya spears
- 1 c water
- 4 bananas
- 2 c apple juice
- 4 drops grapefruit essential oil
Soak papaya in water overnight. Blend papaya and soaking water with apple juice and chopped bananas untill smooth. Stir in grapefruit essential oil. Enjoy! Makes 4 cups.
