Idaho Balsam Fir

On a call last night Gary Young suggested that a beginner take 2-3 drops of Balsam Fir in a glass of water daily.

takes 20 drops of Fir oil in a glass of water. It helps him with inflamation from broken bones and old injuries.

uses Fir rubbed on the chest and neck when he feels a respiratory problem coming on. Breathing Fir is helpful to reduce stress and tension, (remember the story of how calm the men at the distillery are). Fir helps with healing the tissue. To lower overall cortisol levels rub on the feet daily. Fir with Lemongrass is great for ligaments.

I have noticed that Idaho Balsam Fir relaxes me and the scent gives me a special feeling of Christmas and Peace.

Advise on thyroid from a Naturopathic Doctor

 

Puffy eyes are part of Thyroid problems and or Kidney problems. But if it is the eyeball itself that is puffed out and not the eyelids that is a definite thyroid problem.

Young Living Oils and Babies

 

Someone asking if was OK to use oils on her baby.................

 

You're fine...more than fine! Gary Young has used many many more oils on his children from the moment of their birth. He used many oils and rubbed their entire bodies with them. Frankincense, Sandalwood, Cedarwood are all high in Sesquiterpines which are know to be able to cross the blood/brain barrier to bring oxygen to the brain. They can be used on the spine in conjunction to using them on the head. Use your mother's instincts and apply these oils as you feel the energy for Sara. I would apply these oils, alternating, throughout the day.

 

Also, one of the women in my organization tells the story of how she lathered Lavender Oil (Young Living exclusively) on her few month old baby and she slept all through the night and through the next morning.

She then began to count the drops and used accordingly. Lavender on the scalp really helps the babies to relax enough to fall into a peaceful sleep.

When the Young Living Oils get into your skin, you are actually improving the oxygenation in your body mind emotions and spirit.

Peace & Calming Essential Oil Blend and children

 

My favorite product for my daughter (who just turned 4) is Peace and Calming Essential Oil Blend. We used to wait at least an hour, sometimes 2 hours for her to go to sleep at night. Now we put the Peace and Calming oil on the bottom of her feet, her wrists, and a touch on the outside of each ear, she is fast alseep in less than 15 minutes without fail.

ROSEMARY (Rosmarinus officinalis CT cineol) Historical
Data: Rosemary was part of the "Marseilles Vinegar" or
"Four Thieves Vinegar" used by grave-robbing bandits to
protect themselves during the 15th century plague. Until
recently; French hospitals used rosemary to disinfect the
air. Medical Properties: Liver-protecting, antitumoral,
antifungal, antibacterial, antiparasitic, enhances mental
clarity/ concentration. USES: Infectious disease, liver
conditions/hepatitis, throat/lung infections, hair loss
(alopecia areata), impaired memory/ Alzheimers Fragrant
Influence: Helps overcome mental fatigue and improves
mental clarity and focus. University of Miami scientists
found that inhaling rosemary boosted alertness, eased
anxiety, and amplified analytic and mental ability.

EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS Historical Data: For centuries,
Australian Aborigines used the disinfecting leaves to cover
wounds. Shown by laboratory tests to be a powerful
antimicrobial agent, E. globulus contains a high percentage
of eucalyptol (a key ingredient in many antiseptic mouth
rinses). Often used for the respiratory system, Eucalyptus
has been investigated for its powerful insect repellent
effects. Eucalyptus trees have been planted throughout
North Africa to successfully block the spread of malaria.
According to Jean Valnet, MD, a solution of 2 percent
eucalyptus oil sprayed in the air will kill 70 percent of
airborne staph bacteria. Some doctors still use solutions
of Eucalyptus oil in surgical dressings. Medical
Properties: Expectorant, mucolytic, antimicrobial,
antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-aging. USES:
Respiratory/sinus infections, decongestant,
rheumatism/arthritis, sooth sore muscles. Fragrant
Influences: It promotes health, wellbeing, purification and
healing. * Therapeutic grade essential oils from Young
Living were utilized in this application. EO's from bath
shops and natural foods stores are often perfume grade and
