Young Living's rose oil is nothing like anything you have ever smelled before.
It is NOT the sweet smell you expect after smelling cheap oils and
potpourri. It has a rich, almost medicinal smell to it. It doesn't
really smell like fresh roses to me, because it is so concentrated
Because of the cost, it was several years after I'd joined Young
Living before I allowed myself to buy my first bottle of rose oil.
Since that day, I swore I would never be without it again. My
experience is that rose oil is euphoric. There is just no way you
can smell this oil, and have a bad day. It is the highest frequency
of any measured oil - 350 megahertz.
There are about 85 - 100 drops in a 5 ml bottle of any of our oils,
and rose comes in a 5 ml bottle. It's such a strong oil, I often
only want part of a drop, so I touch the side of the bottle where the
top screws on to it, and that's usually enough. I often put it on
the back of my hands, so that as I go throughout my day, I can lift
my hand to my nose, without being too conspicuous, and smell it...
Mine has. I also love using a combination of one drop of rose to
one drop of frankincense, and wearing them together.
Gosh, now that I'm writing this, I just have to go put a little bit
on... Now I'm back - thanks, Maria for reminding me to put rose on
today. It's just fabulous.
So when is it alright to start loving ourselves enough to buy a
bottle of rose oil? You decide.
Love, Vicki Opfer
