ALLERGY RELIEF TESTIMONIALS:
I had a neat experience last week with the oils and did not even think to post it here until I read someone's post tonight and it made me realize that what I had to say might help someone else. I have gotten used to the "miracle of the oils" so I sometimes just take for granted that they will work, but there are others that are new and have not had very many miracles of their own. This is for you.
Our church youth group went on a service project last week to help clean up downed trees and brush from a neighborhood. There was a lady there who was having a very uncomfortable reaction to the pollen
or something. Her eyes were watering really bad and she did not feel well.
I do not suffer from allergies, but I had read that lavender was good For allergies, and since I always carry several oils with me :) I asked if she wanted to try some lavender and see if it helped. She was ready to try anything. I was not sure exactly where to apply the oil so I put some down her nose, under her eyes and on the bone behind her ears. In a few minutes, she could feel a difference! Her eyes no longer were burning. She was not sneezing and she was able to stay and enjoy the evening.
Another girl at this outing was having a reaction to the host's cat. I, again :), offered her some lavender oil, and in about a minute she Was fine and wanted me to tell her mom where she could get some of that
oil. I happily obliged. In fact, her mom and I talked for a little while about oils and other health issues.
Later, my two oldest sons who have never had allergies that I know of, came to me with itchy, watery eyes and sneezing. I don't know what kind of branches and brush they were gathering, but it was some
powerful kind of pollen that I am glad we do not have where we live. Anyway, I got out my lavender. They know from experience to come to me with any kind of health problem. The lavender worked great on one son, but the other one took longer to see any relief. I just kept having him apply lavender and even gave him some peppermint to see if that would help. They were both able to stay for the cookout after the service project, so the lavender did work. Several times... love, Letitia Pierce

Lavender is great for allergies, just rub it around the ears and on the throat. It can also be used in the feet. Nel

I would like to share an allergy experience with the group as it may benefit many who suffer. My daughter is almost 9 years old and has been on Zyrtec since the age of two. She is also asthmatic. We have used many of the usual oils to keep the asthma and like under control....RC, Raven, Pine, Lavender and Harmony are our favorites for this. But this spring we were still tempted to reach for those nasty chemicals. I think that many think of allergies as just being a stuffy nose and people could deal with it if they wanted to.....this is just not the case. She really gets pretty sickly. I started doing RDT on her about once a month. She has not needed the medications since starting RDT's. When a month has passed she will start with the symptoms once again and I give her one more treatment. I love these oils. Whether it makes sense that the RDT is working for an allergic child or not does not concern me......just as long as it keeps on working. My Best, Kim Rinaldi

I never had allergies until this August and September. At the Young Living convention I purchased most of the new products and among them was Allerzyme. I tried 3 capsules and hoped for some relief of itchy eyes and a runny nose. In 5 minutes I noticed major relief and it lasted about 4 hours. I am a believer in Allerzyme. I always carry some in my purse to help others find fast safe relief. Elaine Jay Finster, CO

As far as allergies go, since I've been using the oils I have not gotten but 1 or 2 allergy attacks. I used to get them yearly when the September ragweed came in. Using the oils on a regular basis helps. I use lavender diffused in a small area to combat an attack coming on. I BREATHE deep and it usually stops the attack. If I don't catch it in time I use RC and eucalyptus in a steam inhalation to cut through the stuffiness.
I place a wet washcloth in the shower (hanging) and put about 5 drops of various oils; eucalyptus, RC, peppermint. Then I run the shower on HOT with the door closed. When the bathroom is all steamed up...I go in and spend 10 minutes breathing deeply. It usually works.
For those itchy eyes, I've read on this list that some have used frankincense (just a drop rubbed around the eyes) with immediate results. Be well, Lauren

We used four different oils for my husband's severe allergies. These oils were peppermint, eucalyptus, myrtle and RC. I layered these on his feet (especially sinus points) and used two, varying the two, over his sinuses, (careful, they can irritate). He experienced 99% relief from his allergies this spring! That is truly amazing because he has suffered with them for over 7 years and used every medication from over-the-counter to prescription. I also diffused the oils in the bedroom while he slept. We only did this about three to five times. Thank you Dr. Young for rediscovering natures most powerful "medicine". Susan

Here in NJ the pollen is very bad right now. My eyes have had this severe itch for several days. I looked up EYES in the EDR and picked out a couple of oils for REDNESS. They are: lavender, Idaho Tansy and lemon. I placed a drop of each in the palm of my hand, and VERY CAREFULLY massaged them into the skin area around the eye. I did not go below the eyebrow, nor above the cheekbone. I did put a small amount of oil on the bridge of my nose.
Within a minute the itching stopped. I repeated this for two days with the same success and today I have not had the itching occur. Be very careful of rubbing your face after using oils on the face because it is so easy to forget. Blessings, Kathleen

I had intense allergies, then went on the Cleansing Trio, the minimal amount once a day, and the Power Meal. In one month my allergies disappeared. So I went off it, and my allergies came back. Then I heard on one of the tapes to colon cleanse for 6 months, and then for a month every six months for maintenance and do Juva Tone to clean the liver in-between. However, I just feel better when I just always stay on the Cleansing Trio, and as far as I have experienced and studied this acts just like Metamucil for the old folks, and won't harm you. Oh, by the way I put the ICP powder in with the Power Meal in oat milk (that's oats not goat's) which is high in protein.
