Young Living Farms

  • Lavender Fields
This past Summer, 2003, I took a trip to Mona Utah to visit the Young Living Farms. I was so impressed my the immensity of this organic farm, which produces organic therapeutic essential oils. Young Living is the only company in the world that is growing from seed, harvesting, distilling, producing, formulating, testing, packaging, and marketing esential oils. As I listened to Gary Young the founder of the company give a lecture on the distilling process, and the purity of these oils, I was so happy that I was here. I understoond the importance of a company with integrity, that can ensure you that what ever goes out of their warehouse is therapeutic. They were harvesting chamomile and I could see the process that is involved in distilling an oil. This is a great farm. Come and enjoy my photo album!

Sandalwood Therapeutic Essential Oil

Hi,
I am my own source regarding the Sandalwood. I think this is my favorite of the spiritual single oils. I have used it for numerous things with very positive results.

First, when I turned about 42-43, I began to have some acne, mostly on my chin. This was a shock to me, as I have never had to deal with this before. All the things I tried before seemed to do nothing to clear it up. Along came Young Living and Sandalwood. I began massaging a drop of it on my chin every night. After a few weeks, I began to notice the skin was clearing up and was much softer and had a beautiful look to it.

I also noticed while using the Sandalwood in the evening, I would have a peaceful, sweet feeling as I breathed the aroma of this oil. There was a richness, an exotic feeling to it, but even more than that, a higher spiritual plane. I found myself not dwelling on things that stressed me out, but on drawing closer to God. Sleep was sweet, and my pillow still faintly smelled of it in the morning.

When I brought home new kitties from the breeder, all of them smelled. After all, being kenneled most of the time since birth just did not have them the cleanest they could be. I read up in the Essential Oil Desk Reference, compiled by Essential Science Publishing Co. what was good for taking away such odors and what might be good for their coats. Sandalwood came up!. So I prepared a glass bowl with warm water, about 10-15 drops of sandalwood, and used a washcloth to swish it around. I "damp mopped" the kitties, then dried them with a warm fluffy towel.

The results were remarkable. Their coats, which had been coarse to the touch, with one washing became soft and silky. I am sure this is as much due to the bath removing residue from their confined stay as it is to the Sandalwood being good for the coat. Also, they were delicately fragranced with the Sandalwood
afterwards. Such a pleasing change from how they had come home. And they like it. Perhpas not the bathing part, but after they were warm and dry, how they curled up and purred! It was a gratifying sound for this new "mommy."

One of my kitties turned out to have ringworm, which is not an actual worm, but a fungus, very similar to athlete's foot. I tried treating with OTC meds, stuff from the dr., etc. But what really cleared it up was a mixture of oils and several baths. Always, the last oil to be applied was the Sandalwood, to help promote a healthy, beautiful coat. Many times, I choose to wear Sandalwood as a perfume. A drop on the crown of the head lingers in the air around you, and it lasts for hours. Julie

Using Essential Oils Around the House

Using Essential Oils Around the House
by Melodie Kantner

The use of essential oils in the home can help to create an emotionally and physically healthy environment. The oils can soothe or stimulate, act as disinfectants, deodorants and insect repellents.

For centuries these precious oils have been used in many ways. In the ancient temples, oils were used for anointing a nd religious ceremonies as well as in the healing of wounds and burns. Today in the home, essential oils are used to create ambiance & to promote health & healing.

Around the home there are many different ways essential oils can be used safely:

Dishwashing Soap
To add fragrance or improve the antiseptic action of your liquid soap, add several drops of essential oils such as lavender, Melaleuca alternifolia, fir, spruce, pine, lemon, bergamot, and orange.

Cleaning and Disinfecting
A few drops of oil may be added to the dishwasher to help disinfect and purify. Some popular oils are pine, orange, tangerine, lemon and peppermint, although any antibacterial oil would work well.

Painting
When painting, add a 5 ml. bottle of your favorite essential oil, such as White Angelica, Abundance, or Sacred Mountain, to 1 gallon of paint. Mix well. The oil will counteract the unpleasant smell of paint. Because essential oils are not fatty oils, they will not leave oil spots on the walls. We recommend that no more than 90 ml. of essential oils be used per 5 gallons of paint.
lilyborder2_copy.jpg
Laundry
Essential oils may be used to enhance the cleanliness and fragrance of your laundry. As unpleasant as it seems, dust mites live in your bedding, feeding from the dead skin cells you constantly shed. Recent research has shown that eucalyptus oil kills dust mites. To achieve effective dust mite control, add 25 drops of eucalyptus to each load, or approximately l/2 ounce to a bottle of liquid laundry detergent. You may also add several drops of essential oils to the rinse cycle, such as fir, spruce, juniper, lavender, cedar wood, intergreen/birch, or rosewood.

Instead of using toxic and irritating softening agents in the dryer, place a washcloth dampened with 10 drops of lavender, lemon, melaleuca, bergamot, or other essential oils. While the oils will not reduce static cling, they will impart a distinctive fragrance to the clothes.

In addition, because clothing (like everything else) has a frequency, consider moving toward natural fabrics instead of synthetics. Cotton, linen, silk, and wool possess energy frequencies harmonious to the human body.

Surface Cleansers: Counters, Furniture, etc.
Instead of purchasing standard household cleaners for surfaces, you can create your own natural, safe version by filling a plastic spray bottle with water and a squirt of dishwashing soap. Add 3 to 5 drops each of lavender, lemon, and pine essential oils. Shake the spray bottle well, and your homemade cleaner is ready to spray. This simple solution is extremely economical, yet it cleans and disinfects as well as any commercial cleaner. Please keep in mind that some of the oils used directly may stain some surfaces, such
as linoleum. Additional antibacterial and antiviral oils that are excellent for cleaning include cinnamon, clove, Eucalyptus globulus, thyme, juniper, Melaleuca altemifolia, spruce, lemongrass, and grapefruit.
susan's note: in addition, Thieves Household Cleaner!)

Floors and Carpet
By combining essential oils with common household products, you can create your own nontoxic aromatic floor and carpet cleaners. To clean hard floors, add l/4 cup of white vinegar to a bucket of water. Then add 5- 10 drops of lemon, pine, spruce, Melaleuca alternifolia, Purification, or another suitable oil. If the
floor is especially dirty, add several drops of dish washing soap. This will clean even the dirtiest floor. To make a carpet freshener, add sixteen to twenty drops of essential oils to a cup of baking soda or borax powder. Mix well and place in a covered container overnight so that the oil can be absorbed. Sprinkle over your carpet the next day and then vacuum the powder up.

You may also saturate a disposable cloth or tissue with several drops of essential oil and place it into the collecting bag of your vacuum. This will diffuse a pleasant odor as you clean. If your vacuum collects dirt into water, simply add a few drops into the water reservoir before cleaning. This refreshes both the carpet and the room.

Insecticide and Repellent: Dust Mites, Fleas, Ticks, Ants, Spiders, etc.
Many of us use synthetic chemicals to deal with insects. Essential oils and oil blends, such as lavender, lemon, peppermint, lemongrass, cypress, Eucalyptus globulus, cinnamon, thyme, basil, Thieves, Purification, and citronella, effectively repel many types of insects including mites, lice, and fleas. Peppermint placed on entry ways prevents ants from entering.

If you need moth repellents for your linens and woolens, avoid toxic commercial mothballs made of naphthalene. Natural essential oils, like citronella, lavender, lemongrass, Canadian red cedar, or rosemary, can just as effectively repel moths and other insects. You can make a sachet by placing several drops of essential oil on a cotton ball. Wrap and tie this in a small handkerchief or square of cotton. Hang this cloth in storage areas or add it to your chest of linens. Refresh as often as necessary. You can
put this sachet in your bureau drawers to keep your clothes freshly scented. Lavender and rose
are classic scents. For children's sleepwear, Roman chamomile is especially fragrant and relaxing. To scent stationery, stretch out a scented cotton ball and place in an envelope.

Hot Tubs and Saunas
Hot tubs, jacuzzi's, and saunas act as reservoirs for germs, especially if used frequently. Lavender, cinnamon, clove, Eucalyptus globulus, thyme, 2 1, or grapefruit can be used to disinfect and fragrance the water. Use 3 drops per person. For saunas, add several drops of rosemary, thyme, pine, or lavender to a spray bottle with water and then spray down the surfaces. Scented water can also be used to splash on hot sauna stones. Note: Some essential oils may damage plastic sauna/spa filters or hoses.

Deodorizing: Kitchens, Bathrooms, etc.
The kitchen and bathroom are often a source of odors and bacteria. Use the following mixtures to freshen, deodorize, and disinfect the air, work areas, cupboards, bathroom fixtures, sinks, tiles, woodwork, carpets, etc. These blends are safe for the family and the environment.

Blood Brain Barrier Therapeutic Essentials

Excerpts from: The Essential Oils Desk Reference, Second Edition, Compiled by the Essential Science Publishing Co.
Brain Disorders

The fragrance of many essential oils exerts a powerful stimulus on the limbic system - a part of the brain located on the margin of the cerebral cortex, including the amygdala, hippocampus, and other components, which interact directly with the thalamus and hypothalamus. Acting together, these glands and brain components are the seat of memory,
emotions, and sexual arousal, and govern aggressive behavior. The ability of essential oils to pass the blood-brain barrier gives them enormous therapeutic potential against such neurological diseases like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Lou Gehrig's, and MS.
Right Brain vs. Left Brain
The left brain is logical, rational, and judgmentaland not as responsive as the right. The right brain is the subconscious and superconscious part of the limbic system. Using essential oils heightens right brain activity, according to D. Gary Young. Dr. Richard Restick, a leading neurologist in Washington, D.C., stated that maintaining normal synaptic firing would forestall many types of deterioration in the body.

Other researchers believe that if a substance could pass the blood-brain barrier then a therapeutic solution could be devised to help neurological diseases like Parkinson's, Lou Gehrig's, MS, and Alzheimer's.

Essential oils high in sesquiterpenes, such as frankincense, cypress, myrrh, and sandalwood, have been documented to cross the blood-brain barrier. Moreover, essential oils also increase oxygen levels in the brain. According to Dr. Asawa of Japan and Dr. Richardson of England, the inhalation of essential oils increases brain activity by increasing blood flow by 15 percent and oxygen by 25 percent.

Single Oils: Cedarwood, vetiver, sandalwood, black pepper, patchouly, myrrh, ginger, vitex, German Chamomile, spikenard, galbanum, frankincense, melisa and helichrysum.
Helichrysum with frankincense, peppermint, melissa, or nutmeg.

Blends: Brain Power, Valor, Helichrysum or Frankincense with Aroma Life.

Action of Selected Essential oils:
Helichrysum increases neurotransmitter activity.
Nutmeg is a general cerebral stimulant and also has adrenal cortex-like activity.
Put the oils directly onto the nerve centers as is practical. The brain reflex points include the forehead, temples, and mastoids (the bones just behind the ears). Use direct pressure application to the brainstem located on the center of the backbone, on the neck, and work down the spine.
You can also apply essential oils to a natural bristle brush (oils may dissolve plastic bristles).
Rub and brush vigorously along the brain stem and spine.
Supplements: JuvaTone, VitaGreen, Chelex, A D & E, Power Meal, AminoTec, Essential Omegas, WheyFit, and Sulfurzyme.

ACHIEVE YOUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL

Highest Potential oil and before we would go into the arena he would put it into my hands and I would rub it all over my face..and I am not kidding when I say there wasn’t a single feeling or question of fear. SuvaSunsetWaterBorder.jpg
Fear Keeps Us from Success
It was such an absolute, focused, positive feeling of knowing there was nothing to be concerned about. I have watched this through my life and the lives of many others, and I know that fear is what keeps us from achieving success. Fear keeps you from going up and talking to people about your business and sharing the oils with them because you are afraid of rejection. You are afraid you are going to get turned down. You are afraid somebody’s going to make fun of you or say something humiliating..or whatever. So fear cuts us short. I hear it all the time wherever I go..”I couldn’t do this as a business..” Why do we choose to use those words..”I can’t, I can’t?”
Your Highest Potential oil will help you overcome your limiting vocabulary to where you will say, “I can” instead of I can’t.” Not only does this oil do that for you mentally and emotionally, but the oils in this blend are also there to support your immunological system.

Composition of New Blend
This is a list of the oils in this blend: Australian Blue (which only the Australians know about). The primary oil in the Australian Blue happens to be Blue Cypress and it is a very powerful oil for the respiratory system. We know that when we are experiencing fear our respiratory system starts to shut down, and that is why you start getting labored breathing because you feel this constriction. When that happens it changes the pH and it changes the oxygen saturation of the tissue.
What happens after that? The adrenals start going into overload trying to produce more adrenaline and you start feeling an anxious, excited feeling and a cold feeling at the same time because you are having a decrease in oxygen and an increase of adrenaline..and those two don’t go well together! Then you will start perspiring a cold sweat. You get nervous and you start looking for some place to retreat to or to hide. That actually happens.

Power of Blue Cypress
The Blue Cypress is very powerful in oxygenating and moving that oxygen through the respiratory tract by a capillary dilation in the lungs and you get greater oxygen exchange. The more oxygen you can pump into the tissue, the less adrenaline saturation you are going to have. The other thing that happens with adrenal saturation is you go into an acid cycle..and when you get into an acid cycle you start compromising cell structure and you get into a mutation and a breakdown. That is why the oxygen saturation is so critical.

Galbanum for the Brain
Another single oil (which is in the Gathering blend) is Galbanum which is very powerful on the hypo-thalamus of the brain. We can look at being able to be focused on whatever we are doing, whether it is telling somebody about Young Living, signing them up, taking an order, buying a new car or a washing machine, or whatever it is. If you are going out and applying for another job or writing a book you need to be focused on positive intent, accomplishment..staying true to the path. Galbanum is a very powerful oil in activating the hypothalamus and keeping the brain focused. So Blue Cypress and Galbanum are exceptionally beneficial.

Ylang Ylang for Balancing the Heart
Ylang Ylang..for the heart. It balances the rhythm of the heart. When you feel fear you start getting palpi-tations because the adrenaline is kicking in and it is starting to race the heart. Ylang Ylang keeps the heart balanced, and when the heart is balanced and strong you feel empowerment, and it is really crucial to be able to stay on task and go forward.

Jasmine Brings Harmony
Jasmine..why would I choose Jasmine? Because I wanted the women to go (whinny sound)! Jasmine is that beautiful, sweet, feminine fragrance that helps to balance the masculinity in male and in female as well, so it brings that harmony in the medulla oblongata in the brain (or the brain stem) which is very important because of the neuron transfer and to keep the neuro-logical system in balance. As you know, Jasmine has been used a lot and there is a lot of research on it on preventing seizures because it has a direct effect on the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems and is a powerful balancer for those system.
When you experience fear the parasympathetic or the sympathetic system goes into override–it goes one way or the other and it is stimulating. Then you get this excited feeling like you are racing with nowhere to go. Jasmine helps to keep those systems in balance, working on the brain stem. It is a very powerful combination in keeping it there, so you have your strengthening in the blood flow and the Blue Tansy (Tanacetum annuum) which is in there with the Blue Cypress and is really a beautiful oil for the liver.
Stress and Fear Affect Liver Function
Again, when we are looking at balancing the liver function and looking at bringing these things into place, it is really crucial to keep that balance. If the liver isn’t balanced, then as the HGH comes up to go through the liver you are not going to have the conversion factor. When there is stress it produces acid in the liver..and then you get the excess bile backing up in the tissues.
How many of you have experienced stress and then later feel like you are itching? That is because of the excess bile dumping back into the blood from stress. The Blue Tansy is very powerful in keeping that acid moving through the liver so you don’t have the backup of bile in the blood. Wherever we go–it doesn’t matter whether you are jousting or driving a car or going to get up on the stage and give your testimonial, or you are signing somebody up–everybody experiences fear.

Fear Affects Us All
There is not one human being on this planet who is free from fear. It’s an emotion that God created for a reason. It was created to be a checkmate so that some of us don’t do really crazy things..that we just do fun things! The key is in you taking control, not it taking control of you. So experience your beautiful blend of Highest Potential and let it help you mentally focus, mentally take charge so you can overcome fear because that is the restricting factor of every human being from achieving their highest potential.

Therapeutic Essential Oils

Therapeutic Essential Oils are different than essential oils that have been cut with chemicals and slovents. When buying essential oils always look for labels that state "genuine & authentic" or "Grade A." Most people think the words, "Pure" or "100% Pure" on the label indicate the oils are good. This is just not true. Price is usually a good indicator of quality. I have seen lavender oil for $5.00 and rose oil for $10.00. It takes around 4000 pounds of rose petals to make 1 pound of rose oil. If you see rose oil for under $100.00. It is not pure rose oil.
Much more is involved in therapeutic grade oil than just the purity. If they are not properly distilled, they won't be therapeutic grade.

Breast Cancer Study- NY Times

Study Suggests Breast Cancer Is Linked to Use of Antibiotics
By ANAHAD OCONNOR
(NYT) News CHICAGO (Reuters)

gardeniaborder.jpg
Women exposed to higher amounts of antibiotics have as much as twice the risk of breast cancer, but it is not known if the treatment is an actual cause of the most common form of cancer afflicting women
worldwide, researchers said on Tuesday.

The findings however are consistent with an earlier Finnish study of almost 10,000 women and pending further research they underscore the need to use antibiotics prudently, the report said.

The study from the University of Washington in Seattle was based on a look at 10,219 women in a group health plan, some of whom were being treated for breast cancer. Antibiotic use of the patients studied was determined by the prescription records maintained by the health plan.

It found that women who took antibiotics for more than 500 days, or had more than 25 prescriptions, over an average period of 17 years had more than twice the risk of breast cancer as women who had not taken any antibiotics.

The risk was smaller for women who took antibiotics for fewer days. But even women who had between one and 25 prescriptions over an average of 17 years were about one and a half times more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than women who didn't take any antibiotics.

The increased risk involved all classes of antibiotics that they studied.

``Increasing cumulative days of antibiotic use was also associated with death due to breast cancer ...,'' said the study, which was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

CANCER RISK

``While the implications for clinical practice will not be clear until additional studies are conducted, the results of this study support the continued need for prudent long-term use of antibiotics and the need for further studies of the association between antibiotic use and cancer risk,'' the report concluded.

Though more research is needed to determine if antibiotics are a cause of the cancer, the researchers offered some possible theories on how they could be. One is that antibiotics can affect bacteria in the intestine, perhaps impacting how certain foods that might otherwise prevent cancer are broken down in the body.

Another involves the effects of antibiotics on the body's immune response and response to inflammation, which could also be related to the development of cancer. It is also possible that underlying medical problems that led to antibiotic use are a factor, the report said.

``This is an important study, as it appears to be the first major work to describe a possible association between antibiotic use and the increased risk of cancer,'' commented Jeanne Calle, director of analytical epidemiology at the American Cancer Society.

``It is critical to realize we cannot say with any certainty how valid these results are until and unless they
are replicated in additional studies. Clearly no one should stop using antibiotics in acute situations based on the results of this single study,'' she said.

"There is no question other researchers will now begin to investigate this potential association. Such additional studies will clarify the role, if any, of antibiotic use and breast cancer risk,'' she added.

Arthritis Epidemic

Here is an excellent report given by a well know medical doctor on arthritis and solutions available.
Enjoy! Theresa LeGarieWaterlilliesandFishBorder.jpg
The Arthritis Epidemic
By Terry S. Friedmann, M. D., A.B.H.M.

Arthritis refers to a group of illnesses, which include symptoms, such as pain in the joints, stiffness, and inflammation. It is claimed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention that one third of all Americans suffer from some form of arthritis.

There are various types of joint diseases inflammatory and non-inflammatory. Inflammatory types include rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, Rieter’s syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), scleroderma,
ankylosing spondylitis (AS), and colitis/enteritis-related arthritis.

The non-inflammatory arthritis types include osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis, and osteochondromatosis.

The pathology seen at the joint level includes inflammation, fluid formation, and ultimately calcification, which may involve surrounding tissue, including cartilage, bone, ligaments, and tendons. In chronic conditions, the entire joint may be calcified or fibrosed and fixed or, as it is called medically, ankylosed.

Other lesions found in arthritis include small vessel inflammation, pulmonary fibrosis, and disturbances of the skeletal muscle as well as the lymph nodes.

Consequently, it is clear that this disease represents a serious systemic problem affecting many parts of the body. The causative agents are: toxins, nutritional deficiencies, biomechanical stress, emotional factors, parasites, other infectious agents, and immune dysfunction. Also, a genetic predisposition plays a significant role as well.

Diagnosis Diagnosis is made by a thorough history and examination. However, x-rays may be valuable in confirming the diagnosis and the degree of joint involvement.

Occasionally, CT-scans and MRIs may be utilized. Laboratory findings are very valuable in diagnosing and monitoring the Progress of the disease. Measuring such parameters as sedimentation rate, IgM antibodies, latex fixation test, ANA titers, presence of uric acid crystals, and HLA-B27 antigens is important.

Two other very valuable and worthwhile tests for diagnosing and giving a key for the treatment of arthritis are stool analysis and synovial fluid examination. The synovial fluid is part of the synovium, which is made up of a thin layer of cells, that line and lubricate the joints.

In this article, I choose to focus on the most common forms of the arthridities, that are osteoarthritis, which has the effect of breaking down the cartilage in the joint, and rheumatoid arthritis, which is caused by an auto-immune phenomena in which the body attacks and destroys the joints.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis, a degenerative disorder, is the most common form of arthritis. In fact, it is believed that today 20 million people in the United States suffer from this disease. However, if the current trend continues by the year 2020, the number will double to 40 million sufferers, usually between the ages of 40 and 50 years.

What specifically is the cause? Well, as I said, the cartilage between the joints is damaged. Think of the cartilage as a natural shock absorber, which cushions the internal portion of your joints. Not only that but the cartilage also acts like a sponge. As you put stress, pressure, or weight on the joint, the synovial fluid that it contains is squeezed out. It then absorbs minerals and other nutrients from the surrounding tissues, and when the pressure is taken off, the synovial fluid returns to the cartilage purified and nourished. However, by continuous and prolonged use, there is often a mechanical breakdown. This degeneration is, of course, accelerated by toxins, heavy metals, and microbes found in the fluid.

After destruction of the cartilage, we sometimes end up with bone on bone. Why has the disability been classified as an epidemic?

Years of jogging, high-impact aerobics, soccer, football, basketball, Racquetball and tennis, particularly with less than perfect form have created major joint damage. We are observing a large generation, the Baby Boomers, who have been guilty of this in the name of exercise and supposedly good health.
We also see problems with the joints when there is an overweight situation, which is only too common in the United States.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis, a debilitating auto-immune disease, which often leaves the joints severely deformed, and is commonly seen in the joints of the hands and feet. With the condition of rheumatoid arthritis, the bodies own defense system attacks the synovium layer, which lubricates the inner lining of the joints.
This clogs the synovium and releases normally good infection-fighting cells, which then release proteins called cytokines.
The cytokines raise havoc by causing a superfluous growth of new and erratic blood vessels and, consequently, the factor of inflammation and all the consequences thereof. This has the effect of creating not just cartilage damage but bony destruction as well. The second most common type of arthritis,

rheumatoid arthritis, last year affected 2.5 million Americans generally between the ages of 20 and 50, three times more common in women than men.

Treatment

Of course, since the etiology in each disease is distinct, the treatment will be different. Generally, however, there are treatments, which benefit both types.

I will begin first with what is generally recommended by your physician. The traditional treatment is with medicines, such as corticosteroids, Nsaids (non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs), which include aspirin, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen, as well as, antibiotics, antiprotozoa drugs, COX-2 inhibitors, which suppresses cytokines, and methotrexate, a cancer drug. However, all of these drugs have side effects, some severe. Indeed, many researchers believe there is too much emphasis placed on drugs, and I fully agree.

Surgery is also recommended. This includes arthroscopy, bone fusion, tissue repair, particularly when there is muscle, tendon, and ligament tears or damage, and lastly, total joint replacement. However, I firmly believe that these practices should be reserved only for serious end stages of joint destruction.

Complimentary Treatment The Good News!
Young Living Essential Oils has a plethora of great products designed to Prevent and cure the terrible consequences of the arthritic disease. Even better yet, Young Living is in the process of introducing a product that will actually reverse joint damage.
Let’s take a good look at what is available from Young Living. First, the Immune system, which is misbehaving, in rheumatoid arthritis is not just an overactive immune system, but it is a dysfunctional one. It consumes and destroys damaged tissue; but the problem is with discernment. In its enthusiasm to do its job, the immune system begins to attack and damage good, healthy tissue. So rather than retard its function, as is often recommended, so it no longer destroys as much good and as diseased tissue, we need to improve and upregulate the system.

So what does the job for increasing the efficiency and adequately regulating the immune system? Two powerful products is Berry Young Juice, and the product ImmuPro.

Berry Young Juice
is an incredible product, which contains 18 amino acids, 21 different minerals and many antioxidants. Take one ounce orally twice daily for maximum benefit.

ImmuPro enhances our system with as many as 16 different ingredients. It is a very powerful blend of immune stimulating products. Take one chewable tablet daily. With these two products, you will begin to notice a major difference in your immune system’s performance.
Another great product for arthritis is the essential oil of Idaho Tansy. When applied neat directly over the joints, you will rapidly see its remarkable benefits. It stimulates the production of synovial fluid, which as I stated, lubricates the internal portion of your joints. I would apply it two to three times a day to the affected joints.
The new product just coming out of Young Living's Investigation and Development Department is a product called ArthroPro, formerly called CMG. It contains MSM, glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and manganese.

YL's new product BLM (Bone, Ligament, Muscle-code #3234

* By now, most of you have heard of MSM. It is a product, which acts as a ground substance in the structure of your skin, nails, and hair along with other tissues and it creates an abundance of growth.

* With glucosamine, evidence suggests that this supplement helps to relieve arthritis pain possibly by encouraging cartilage growth.
* Chondroitin is believed to protect the cartilage from degeneration.
* Manganese acts as a co-factor that allows these products to work.
For the overall healing of joints and their surrounding structures, a combination of powder works miracles. Sulfurzyme, containing MSM, and Coral Sea containing calcium are the wonder products. Mix one teaspoon
of each in four ounces of water and take twice daily.
The great standby is PanAway, an oil blend. When applied diluted over the joints, it not only dissipates pain rapidly according to my clinical experience with patients, but supports healing as well. Those of you who are presently using the Young Living products on a regular basis should consider yourselves very fortunate indeed because of what you now have at your fingertips. In addition to these specific products, there are general things you can do to cure and reverse arthritis. You should all know these things, but I will just
give you a quick reminder.
Take control of your lifestyle. Practice a sensible diet and control your weight. Supplement this diet with good nutrients. Perform responsible exercise, such as walking, low-impact aerobics, and water workouts in a swimming pool. It is important to build muscle because that helps to support your joints, thereby reducing their stress. Detoxify the body through occasional fasting and liver cleansing programs. Do not forget to get plenty of rest. Much of the body's healing occurs during sleep. Lastly, always include a spiritual plan in your program by daily affirmations, meditation, and prayer. Give thanks for your blessings and see yourself perfect and whole in God's eyes.
I am certain that if you follow this program as I have set out, success is yours!

I had a comment regarding the amounts of propylene glycol, sodium laurel sulfate and other undesirables to make. I too consider I might sound fanatic about being worried about every single ingredient but I agree with Bill. I brush my teeth probably 3-4 times a day. That's approximately 1100 times a year. They say these things are absorbed even more readily through our mouths than on our skin. And what about more propylene glycol and sodium laurel sulfate in our shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, bath gel, deodorant, mouthwash, and on and on and on. So maybe one little bit once in a while won't be bad, but what about the cumulative effect using it year after year? I was appalled at what was in the baby shampoo and bath products I was using on my child. There's not even one good thing in there, except maybe the water. So I changed her to all YL's products in the interest of keeping as many chemicals out of her body for as long as I can.

Thieves Household Cleaner

Thieves Household Cleaner
yellow_carpet_flowersborder.jpg
This all natural, non-toxic antiseptic household cleaner is the BEST I have ever used. Not only are you assured that all the bugs and germs are swept away but the aroma is heavenly. The sweetness of Clove (Syzygium aromaticum), lemon (Citrus limon), cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), Eucalyptus radiata and rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis CT 1,8 cineol) permeates your home.

Thieves Household Cleaner contains all-natural ingredients formulated to distribute the power of therapeutic-grade essential oils in your home while killing germs and bacteria.

Thieves Oil Blend is one of the primary ingredients in the Household Cleaner. This Thieves Oil Blend was created based on research about four Thieves who, during the 15th-century plague, used cloves, rosemary, and other aromatics to protect themselves while robbing plague victims. Thieves is a proprietary blend of pure essential oils tested at Weber State University, Ogden, Utah, and found to have a 99.96 percent effective rate against airborne bacteria. Note: Thieves oil blend is an integral ingredient in Thieves Household Cleaner, Thieves Spray, Thieves Wipes, Thieves Lozenges, Dentarome Plus and Dentarome Ultra toothpastes, and Fresh Essence Plus Mouthwash.

Thieves Cleaner in the dishwasher.....
I asked this same exact question a few weeks ago and got NO answer.... So, I decided to get brave... I tried a capful (about 1 tablespoon) into each soap container and then added water to bring it all up
to the proper level in the containers... The glasses were just sparkling (so, not "Jet Dry" needed here) and they alll smelled so wonderful, NOT like the commercial detergents... that was so YUK..... Then, I tried a couple of days ago to save and tried only about 1/2 teaspoon into each container... dishes were still dirty/stained. ---Carol

If you are concerned about using natural, effective, non-toxic products in your home, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ordering this product. 16 oz. of pure heaven.-- Theresa LeGarie
